Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his distinct mixture of soul gospel, R&B as well as R&B. The singer's career has taken her all over the world, from Broadway to European concerts and festivals up to her participation in the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine, whose given name is Denise White. While she now lives in Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical experience began at the church, where she sang and played piano. The musical journey began for her in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. It was remixed and has become a component of her repertoire. Additionally, she was a part of The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. in 2005 Tyler Perry hired her as his primary keyboardist for the stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy and Tony Award winning vocalist who was part of the stage production Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, contacted her to serve as the director of the choral group for the production. Sunshine became famous during the four daily performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing at Barack Obama's 2009 Inauguration.
